He also joked along with our tour group (having a friendly sense of humour) & braking the ice so by the end we were all chatting and laughing together. We enjoyed some delicious cocktails in the bishops bar, which had a lovely relaxed atmosphere after our tour & we even purchased some amazing bottles of artisan Gin and toffee liquor (no obligation to buy)

We may think of gin as a quintessentially English drink, but our favourite spirit actually has its roots on the Continent – as a Dutch drink, called genever. For most of history it was beer and later, brandy that the English swilled.
Each of our recipes is handcrafted, using select botanicals that result in a spirit that tells its own story. Our 450 litre bespoke still sits at the heart of our Distillery, anchoring us in our craft and distilling premium artisan spirits. We store them until they are polished and bold enough to be bottled and hand finished.
