Located in the heart of Maidstone at 5, Market Buildings, ME14 1HP, Maidstone Distillery makes for a truly memorable destination. Predominantly from Monday to Friday we are manufacturing spirits for both ourselves as well as valued trade clients. All staff are actively involved in production and are always happy to talk with customers and the trade about our fascinating story as the Home of English Gin as well as our hand crafted production techniques. Our bar and shop are open all week except Sundays and we run popular spirit based experiences on Fridays and Saturdays as well as by request.

When you arrive by car, you’ll find public parking just a few minutes’ walk from the distillery — Fremlin Walk Car Park is the closest. There are also a number of Maidstone town centre car parks where you can leave your vehicle nearby.

If you’re travelling by train, Maidstone East station is your best bet — it’s approximately a 7-minute walk from the station to the distillery. Maidstone West Station is also nearby, depending on the train route you take and where you’re coming from. Once you arrive, the distillery is easily accessible by foot from these stations, with local taxi and bus options available if needed. The distillery is generally open plan and all on one level without any steps, so easy to move around and wheelchair friendly. 

We recommend booking your Tour & Tasting, Cocktail Masterclass or Gin-Making Experience in advance, especially for weekends or during special events. Please aim to arrive at least 10 minutes before any experience booking. Whether you’re joining us for an immersive experience, sampling our craft spirits in the Bishop’s Bar, or browsing for gifts in our shop, we look forward to giving you a warm welcome.
