Who We Are

We have lovingly restored our distillery, in the heart of our town. Set in a beautiful building where the local community can learn about our rich legacy. We wanted a place where people can see our spirits being made first hand, and experience the art of distilling in a fun and exciting way.

Sustainability

From our 100% green energy, to our plastic free packaging – read more about some of the steps we are taking to run a cleaner, greener distillery.

Our Legacy

We may think of gin as a quintessentially English drink, but our favourite spirit actually has its roots on the Continent – as a Dutch drink, called genever. For most of history it was beer and later, brandy that the English swilled.

Each of our recipes is handcrafted, using select botanicals that result in a spirit that tells its own story. Our 450 litre bespoke still sits at the heart of our Distillery, anchoring us in our craft and distilling premium artisan spirits. We store them until they are polished and bold enough to be bottled and hand finished.

Legacy

We are reinstating the tradition of Maidstone pioneer and master distiller, George Bishop, who created quality and world-renowned spirits from our county town back in 1785. We are reclaiming our forgotten heritage to produce spirits of depth, meaning and character that we can all be proud of. He was a champion of the people and it’s time for his legacy to be tasted again.
