Alex was both engaging and entertaining throughout whilst also remaining informative. It was great value for money at £40 per person and you get 3 cocktails each (all double measures!!) so we were slightly squiffy by the end!
The entire bar also sang happy birthday to myself and two other guests also celebrating their special days which was such a love touch. Will definitely be coming back - thank you so much to the lovely staff for making it so special.

Having been before to a gin-making experience we knew a little of the history and workings so it was lovely to relax in a friendly familiar way and make delicious cocktails. The girls really looked after us and we loved their chat. Especially when they explained how to make cocktails and referred to one of the filters as the "springy thingy" We loved it and will always call it that from now on.

We may think of gin as a quintessentially English drink, but our favourite spirit actually has its roots on the Continent – as a Dutch drink, called genever. For most of history it was beer and later, brandy that the English swilled.
Each of our recipes is handcrafted, using select botanicals and artisan techniques, that result in a spirit that tells its own story. Our 450 litre copper still sits at the heart of our Distillery, anchoring us in our craft and a distilling legacy spanning over 235 years. We are inspired by our people, landscape and heritage.
