We awoke to news this morning that many schools, homes and businesses have wrongly been using alcohol-free hand sanitiser products, which do not conform to World Health Organisation (WHO) standards.
The results are in and we are incredibly proud to announce that our debut spirit, George Bishop London Dry Gin, scored 93 out of a possible 100 at this year’s International Wine and Spirits Competition!

Since our last update several weeks ago, there has been a hurricane of activity here at the Distillery. Here’s what we’ve accomplished so far.
It has been several weeks since our last update, so much has changed at the Distillery and in the world around us.
We are able to offer our own hand sanitiser, made to the guidelines provided by the World Health Organisation.
Our still is now installed. Many weeks have been spent connecting utilities to it, including water, electricity and drainage
As we prepare to say farewell to 2019 we can’t help but look back at such an eventful year at Maidstone Distillery.
We were delighted to take possession of our new premises. Situated in the historic Market Buildings and right in the heart of Maidstone.
